Job requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above

• major in Metallurgy or Metal material/Material engineering/Mechanical manufacturing

• Minimum 3~5 years of working experience related with metal analysis

• Must be Familiar with SEM equipment working principle, usage, chemical composition analysis, micro-structure analysis, failure analysis

• Experience on material selection, validation, optimization

• Familiar with Quality system and requirement in Automotive industry

• Fluent in both spoken and written English

• Good communication skill in multicultural company

• Be positive, conscientious, highly motivated, and willing to share knowledge with all cross-functional team members (quality, production, manufacturing and engineering)

Responsibilities:

• Acts in support of the developments from Advanced Engineering to After-Sales through Development, Industrialization and Production

• Interacts with all the teams involved in projects (Engineering, Purchasing, etc...)

• Ensures the validation process of subcontractors (writes specifications, validates subcontractors, and conducts audits...)

• Acts as an expert in analysis and validation of manufacturing processes

• Is responsible for his project management lots with respect of quality and performance (technical + economical)

• Anticipates the needs of internal customers and ensures their satisfaction

• At senior level, the work is likely to involve more innovative research or greater management responsibility. The latter will call for a range of additional skills that are not necessarily part of the routine work of a materials engineer)

• Typical work activities:

• selecting the best combination of materials for specific purposes;

• Testing materials to assess how resistant they are to heat, corrosion or chemical attack, etc... ;

• assessing materials for specific qualities (such as electrical conductivity, durability, renewability);

• developing prototypes;

• considering the implications for waste and other environmental pollution issues of any product or process;

• advising on the adaptability of a plant to new processes and materials;

• working to solve problems arising during the manufacturing process or with the finished product, P35

• supervising quality control throughout the construction and production process;

• monitoring plant conditions and material reactions during use;

• helping to ensure that products comply with national and international legal and quality standards;
